Winners Gallery is happy to present an exciting duo exhibition featuring Chinese artist Su Yuming and Norwegian artist Johanna Sovik, opening on March 17th, 2024.

The artworks of both artists have their own unique characteristics, but they have similarities in the roots of their creation. Both artists tell stories about humanity, loneliness and togetherness.

Su Yuming is a cross-disciplinary artist, transitioning often from printmaking to painting. He was educated in the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His creative realm has expanded from paper to canvas, and from printmaking to painting, on some works mixing both mediums. His inspiration stems from everyday life, utilizing the techniques of color separation, overlay, and transfer from printmaking, as well as capturing and collaging internet images, resulting in visually rich and three-dimensional compositions.

In her artworks, each character comes to life, as her painting, collage, and digital techniques cleverly blend together to construct a mysterious and captivating artistic world. With vibrant colors and striking contrasts, emotions flow through her artworks, allowing viewers to feel close to the characters. Her works are like an emotional symphony that immerses the audience and captivates them.
