WINNERS GALLERY is pleased to announce its official representation of Chinese-Icelandic artist Fía Yang. Born in 1988 in Changsha, China, Fía is currently based and working in Iceland.

Fía Yang, a Chinese interdisciplinary artist who finds inspiration in Iceland's untamed landscapes, channelling her experiences into her art. Focused on self-discovery, and seeking liberation, her work resonates with viewers on a personal level. Her paintings merge Chinese calligraphic elements and body-guided compositions, encapsulating the deep connection between humans and nature. Although primarily a painter, Fía's creative expression extends to media and performance art, as well as music, further enriching her artistic vision.

WINNERS GALLERY is thrilled to announce its official representation of Chinese-Icelandic artist Fía Yang. This September, we will be hosting a unique and vibrant solo exhibition for Fía at the gallery.

As an interdisciplinary artist, Fía Yang showcases unique creativity and inspiration by transforming the untamed landscapes of Iceland into artistic creations. She focuses on self-discovery and seeking liberation, which allows her works to resonate with the audience on a personal level.

Fía's paintings seamlessly blend elements of Chinese calligraphy with body-guided compositions, showcasing a unique artistic style that reflects the profound connection between humanity and nature. Her works capture the beauty of natural landscapes through distinctive brushstrokes and lines, conveying a sense of reverence towards the natural environment. Through this approach, she goes beyond mere depictions of nature and endeavors to convey a deeper understanding of the relationship between humans and the natural world. 

In addition to painting, Fía's creativity extends to the realms of media, performance, and music, further enriching her artistic vision. This interdisciplinary approach provides her with different level for self-expression and enables the audience to gain a more comprehensive understanding of her artistic concepts through different art forms.
